KB Leadership Collective is a strategic advising and executive coaching practice based in Washington, D.C. We work primarily with CEOs and boards of nonprofit and education-focused organizations navigating succession planning, leadership transitions, and periods of organizational complexity. We also advise and coach select corporate executives operating in high-stakes environments.

Founded by Khari Brown, KB Leadership Collective draws on more than two decades of firsthand executive leadership experience. Khari spent 24 years as a CEO and Executive Director, leading and scaling a nationally recognized nonprofit while working in close partnership with its board through sustained growth, challenging operating environments, and moments requiring disciplined judgment and steady leadership.

KB Leadership Collective's work centers on helping boards and senior leaders make sound decisions at moments that shape leadership continuity and long-term organizational performance. We bring perspective informed by lived experience, including deep familiarity with governance dynamics, the CEO role, and the realities leaders face when decisions carry lasting organizational and reputational consequences.
